[HELP] How on earth can I use PIN TO START with Lumia Directions/Maps

Nokia maps has that option. I can't do it. It's greyed out.

Is there no way in which we can save a planned route or pin it to start using Nokia Maps? Do I need to have something else installed? Settings? I'm confused.
