Lumia 920 India Confirmation

Went to a Nokia Priority dealer today, they confirmed me that 920 will be launching on 15th Jan. I also asked about pre-booking but they weren't ready for that. Instead they took my contact details and said that they'll call me as soon as it hits shelves.

My problem with delayed launch is .. Once they announce L920 in India, I will hear rumors about new version of L920 plus model..So i will postpone my decision and wait for the new model..So this cycle keeps continuing and finally will end up buying some galaxy series or iPhone . Nokia has to do something about it or at least provide some extra accessories free for delayed launch. I will wait till Jan 15th for the release..if its delayed further...GOOD BYE NOKIA forever !

Exactly the same thought here... I'm starting to feel dumped by Nokia, even though I've been their loyal customer for years.

Fcuk this, I'll settle to Xperia SL (currently a steal on Ebay, at 20.8k) and wait for next gen Lumia. Though this will happen only if Nokia delays 920 further than 15th Jan, or prices it like silly. I really hope 920 to be priced competitively (less than or equal to HTC 8X's price) otherwise bye bye Nokia..

Beyond a point teasers are lately annoying... How many facebook pages and twitter notifications for us to beg Nokia to announce the launch date. Yet, they just keep on leaking teasers. Even now they are saying coming soon .... which is what since September 5th... English may not be my first language, but I'm not able to make out what Nokia means by coming soon... I feel so disgusted by these coming soon ads lately... 5 months of coming soon is not really good on part of Nokia, don't know when they understand. This is something Nokia needs to learn from Apple. I won't make the mistake of getting a Samsung of Sony, because they do the same when it comes to release of Android updates...

I know U guys are waiting for this, but dont U think it worth the wait? You choose this phone over plenty of **** looking phones, and still going to buy those ****s. I know U R feeling bad for wasting so much of time waiting for it but just think, how will you feel when U will see this phone in others hands and U missed it so closely bcoz U can't wait anymore and still knowing its coming very very soon. I know how it feels when U wait for your phone of dreams coz I waited for 610 even more than U guys waited for 920. But believe me, the feeling of it getting in hands at Nokia store the very first day is just super awesome.

You're right Ayush. I'd go for 620 if 920 is priced more than 34k. Then again, 620 is to be launched later than the 920 ~

I have been waiting for this since June '12.. maybe a month or two before that/... can't remember.. it started when I started tracking windows phone development.. and came to know about Apollo
I assumed Nokia will definitely bring something innovative and it did meet my expectation with Lumia 920..

Am using a Nokia 101 currently... and have been desperately waiting for L920.. am sure there might be many out there like me.. and Nokia India has disappointed us all...

34k!!! Ops, I guess U will hv to wait more for 620 if U do not increase ur budget just 2k. But I guess, why dont U buy 820. It will be in ur budget for sure, have similar hardware as 920 (except camera and puremotion screen), looks better than 920, is slimmer, lighter. Its a better choice in tight budget.

820 is something even I have my eyes on. I read on Twitter yesterday the 920 will b 33K. I can source the link if u want. The 620 will b dirt cheap, 12-13k according to the website. However, no word about 820. See, the 8S is 20. So if the 820 will be 22-23, it will kill HTC.

If there is more than 10K difference between price of 920 and 820, I'll go with 820. If 920 is priced below or equal to 33k, 920 it is. Otherwise 620.

Next Lumia flagship .... .its going to be a loong loooong wait buddy... till now there are no rumors.. heck, they are not able to suffice L920 demands.. plus the India launch delay for the next flagship (am still not expecting India to be included in the list of countries under their first wave of launch).... good luck..

Haha, certainly I know. Nokia has a notoriety to some bottleneck in their phones. Hmm.. what you say is certainly true. I'll give it another thought.

Only if they price lumia above 33k.. Or I may get it if I find EMI offer somewhere. <35k would be impossible for me. Anyway, 620 isn't bad for the price!

If it is the first week of January you guys are gonna get it before me >_< I'm having to wait until the end of January before I can even look at getting mine... First off is exclusivity, next is mum doesn't want me spending all my Christmas + birthday money on a phone... Right now I'm using a TITAN.
