I updated using Swiss ROM as arni99 suggested.
RM821_1232.5951.1249.1003_RETAIL_eu_euro2_345_03_118252_prd_signed

I think the quality of my pics is better than before (my Thai stock ROM), at least in my point of view.

here is the sample of my pics after the update.

100% crop
Crop100%_Lumia920_NewFW.jpg

the original one (default setting, just resized and censor the license plate)

WP_20121221_053_edited_resized.jpg

I satisfied with the result anyway, but if there is any better ROM, I'm ready for another round of flashing my LM ^ ^.

does this rom has 4g option and auto time update?

The ROM I used (RM821_1232.5951.1249.1003_RETAIL_eu_euro2_345_03_118252_prd_signed) --> Swiss ROM doesn't have a 4G connection (at least not showing for me)
Now, I flashed another ROM (which is North Africa: RM821_1232.5951.1249.1001_RETAIL_im_mea3_454_01_120782_prd_signed) --> This ROM also doesn't have a 4G option showing on my LM920

Anyway, I'm in Thailand and we won't have a 4G/LTE connection anytime soon (3-4 years at least). So, it's not the issue for me.

But both ROM do have an auto date/time option for me ^ ^.

PS. I would say, after I flashed the North Africa ROM, I think the images quality I got is better than the Swiss ROM.
The North Africa has less focus time, the contrast & details in the image is better than the Swiss ROM.

The night mode also gave a the impressive result. I'm happy (more than before) with my LM920

I think it's possible (never try myself, but theoretically, it should work).

I never back those thing up before the ROM flashing, sorry.

A quick question:

I want to flash my Polish Lumia 920. I can pick any portico rom and it should work, right? Also, will I still be able to use Polish as a language in my phone, if for example I flash it with RM-821_Orange_CH_VAR260471_12491_001_v2_White?

Yes, the list of languages remains the same, regardless of which ROM you are gonna use. I use the ROM you mentioned and have polska in my list of available languages.

So I flashed my unlocked generic UK model with the belgian ROM.

It is great to have the 4G option in the network speed options.

But ##3282# no longer takes me to the field settings menu which is strange... can anyone check this out? Thanks.

So it looks like the offering on Navifirm is slowly growing. There are now T-Mobile Germany, T-Mobile Poland, T-Mobile Hungary and T-Mobile Netherlands roms available there. Not sure which of these have 4G/LTE enabled, but T-Mobile Germany has an LTE network so 4G should be enabled.

While I'm pleased with the general performance of the Belgian rom (it's now been giving me 48 hours of battery time whereas the original rom gave my only about 18 hours), I am less than enamoured with the camera performance so I'm going to try one of the German roms and will report my findings here. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve so I'll be testing the camera in a live situation and hoping for the best.

Hello, I'd like to report some of my findings.

I can confirm that the ##3282# code doesn't take me into the field settings menu for 2 different portico roms

My 2nd flash, the one listed as RM-821_belgium_CV_VAR241742_1249_1_001_Black_V1_White with a SW version of 1232.5951.1249.1001 has 4G as an option in the Settings->mobile network page. I currently don't have a 4G sim/lte plan so I can't test out lte connectivity.

My original was an unlocked Orange Poland branded white lumia and I'm in Korea if that makes a difference.

YES!!!

It looks like Nokia are populating their servers with all kinds of RM-821 firmware. Most are still carrier dependent, but there are a few carrier free (CV) for Belgium up now and more being uploaded by the minute!

I'm trying to download a carrier dependent Scandinavian ROM to test the camera, but hope a proper version for my actual phone will show up soon. Either way, I'm going to first try a fresh install to see if the camera is really fixed (from what I would tell of my flash to the Belgian Proximus rom it wasn't).

Just got a couple of questions. If I do flash the UK firmware, the phone doesn't have to be unlocked or debranded does it? If i flash the new firmware do I forfeit future OTA updates from MS?
