Flash Nokia Lumia 920 Locked to AT&T with Rogers ROM

Can I flash my Nokia Lumia 920 (locked to AT&T) with the Rogers firmware? will it be ok to flash a phone that is not bricked.

To over come the rogers lock ,if I replace the file NWP8_WP8_Rogers_Fido_simlock_crcFCB5.bin with the file NWP8_simlock_open_Wp8_3gstandard_bb5.bin from another fimeware update that is the Global version for AT&T , will this work?
Will the Cell phone then be unlocked (carried unlocked)

I did finallyget my unlock code from AT&T for my Nokia Lumia 920. As they stated May 9 the date for the end of th exclusitivity agreement.
