Internet Sharing Question

Recently I found out that Windows Phone has a 50 mb download limit. What does this 50 mb download limit cover? Does it cover downloading huge files in my laptop or does it just cover the apps you download in the Store? I'm planning on using my phone as my main source of internet for my laptop since wireless at home is slow. Thanks guys!

I'm pretty sure this is app store only. Like iPhone used to have at 20mb limit on their store back in the day. There is no limit to file size over internet. Unless its carrier specific.
