I drag and drop, to the music folder where all my mp3 songs are in, the AAC songs and they don't show up in the music player. Am I doing something wrong?

I didn't know that WP8 didn't support ACC, but it seems incredibly stupid not to. Add it to the laundry list of things WP8 needs to address with updates. While they're at it, why not support FLAC?

You'll have to convert them to .mp3. Drag.

I'll have to do some testing but, 7.5 played fine and Zune Software used AAC (.m4a) as the default setting. Also, be aware that AAC is not an Apple format - it stands for Advanced Audio CODEC under the MPEG-4 Standard.

I've had an 8x, 820, 8s, and currently have a 620. I never had any issues with any of the lc-aac or he-aac (both m4a) files in my music collection. All showed up and played ok. The same files also play without any issues on my 710.
