No. 8x camera is horrible. Every photo I take comes out looking sepia tone.
Its terrible if your moving or have awkward lighting. But if you take a second to set up, it takes some great pictures!

I really wish people would stop singling out the camera as the defining feature on cell phones. Sure it's nice to have, but they will never match a stand alone camera.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see the 920 named "best" in something, but it seems like almost every smart phone review comes down to the camera and let's face it...picture quality is very subjective based on who's viewing.
I will have to disagree.. my smartphone replaced my standalone camera 3 years ago, and I haven't looked back. I still have my DSLR for special occasions, but I sold all my compacts.
Here is the result, these are all shot with my phone/s .. no post processing of any kind.

also, I took this yesterday.. look at the detail, and tell me that your point and shoot can do better

edit. only this one is post processed.. I made an HDR with exposure values of -1, 0, +1 and put them together on my PC later

Thanks! Those are some really impressive photos taken with both your N8 and 808.
Words can't describe how much I miss my N8.
The best camera is the one you have with you.
