installing skype from mac

Hi,
i'm using my lumia 920 from CN market that does not have skype.
for some reasons i just can't get it to switch to US market, even if i want to. So for install skype there is a manual download link, that save a file on my mac, but then i'm supposed to install on a SD card to my lumia, sadly there is no such thing... any work around?

Skype isn't brilliant on WP8, but can you switch to any other markets beside US or can't change at all?

i just can't change... i tried under region, it always been US... my account just seems to be locked, even before i put a sim card in, was already set to china...

Strange that it's not available on the CN market. I wouldn't know how to proceed.

Is your MS account setup in US? If so, you may have to hard reset 920 and add MS account again to get it to acknowledge US market. I don't know all the details on region settings but I think your MS account you set phone up with has something to do with it. Hard reset may be your only option. Remember if you hard/factory reset, you will start over and loose any info not backed up. You may also loose apps you have purchased as its a different region market??????

but any way to install a file after download it on the 920?
