Is this a Hardware or Software problem?? Please help me!

Hi.

My Lumia 920 is having some weird random freezes almost once a day.

The Hardware buttons and the Capacitive Touch buttons stop working, but the Operating System work fine!!! I am able to open any App and it Works flawless, but can't go back to home screen because the buttons are not working... I can feel the feedback from the home and back buttons, but they dont do anything....

Also, the capacitve buttons stay light up...

When I do a soft reset everything goes back to normal.

Is this Hardware or Software related????

Simply update the software to the latest firmware v1232.5957.1308.00xx and be happy.

Just wanted to know if I needed to replace my phone, or just update the firmware...

I would hard reset the phone and if the issue persists then get it replaced.

Simply update the software, and after check this is to get rid of temporary files, and other basic problems.
