Does it seem to me or somebody has mentioned that Lock Screen will have options less than 30 sec?

just checked. Yes, there is a 30 sec timeout option now.

Downloaded and installed the update. I then checked all the Nokia apps and none gave me an "update" option, only share. What am I missing? I do not have the other storage delete option, still the old setup.

EDIT - F me. It is it's own setting.

After clearing out my temp files, my Other still sits at 2.56GB...

Seems odd that Phone Storage and Storage Check have different data amounts for the same category.

They likely classify "Other" a bit differently, or one might operate on 1 GB = 1,000 MB, rather than having it be the appropriate 1,024.

This whole carrier thing is stupid I have a free and unlocked phone. Why can't I just get the latest updates?

My generic guess is that they think unlocked phones are less-popular (due to the higher cost), so they aren't putting as high of a priority on preparing the update for those devices first.

Yeah, looks like they break it down further. Still not sure of some of these differences. My "other" still seems higher than it should be. I had to do a hard reset not long ago, so I do not have much on my phone right now.

From the Phone Storage section:

Music+Videos = 3.71 GB
Pictures = 50.74 MB
Apps = 5.17 GB
Other = 2.56 GB
System = 1.72 GB
Free Space = 15.91 GB

From the Storage Check Details:

Apps = 5.8 GB
Temporary Files = 474 MB (Can't remove these)
Photos = 2.1 GB
Music + Videos = 1.9 GB
Office Documents = 8.7 MB
Email + Contacts = 62 MB
Maps = 123 MB
Ringtones = 0 KB
System = 1.6 GB
Other = 1.1 GB

I'm gonna have to say...today is one of the best days ever to be a Windows Phone user...An At&t update OTA, Pandora, Temple run, awesome updates to existing titles, and there's still more to come soon. WIN.

the other is most likely larger on the regular storage because app files are combined with other. In nokias storage checker app files are combined the apps section because you wouldnt want to delete save data everytime you clear your temp files. In the nokia storage checker you are just strictly getting temp files, no game saves or stuff like that. Some other just cant be cleared unless you delete games and their save data and memory states.

Some people are commenting on the wpcentral article that their LTE data is slower after the update. Comments?

I am not seeing a drop in speeds. Checked via Speedtest.net and downlink is 12.69Mbps and uplink is 5.13Mbps. Pretty similar to what i used to get before the firmware upgrade. ATT San Diego.

No big changes, just a storage fix and other small performance issues

Speeds are really hard to measure in the wireless cell phone data world, because there's too many variables (reception, load on cell tower, load on testing server) just to name a few.

So nobody is having the issue of this new setting "Storage Check" not working? It's there but nothing is happening. Did a soft reset, turned it off for a couple of minutes but nothing. Everything else seems to be working.

Opened Storage Check and nothing happens for me as well. Appears to be doing something for a brief second, then just flips back to Settings menu. Tried multiple soft resets as well as just a shutdown and still nothing. Suggestions? Who else is experiencing this?

I haven't compared mine, so let's see what I get from my device:

Pictures: 109.85 MB
Apps: 5.52 GB
Other: 2.21 GB
System: 1.71 GB
Free Space: 5.67 GB

Storage Check:

Apps: 6.1 GB
Temporary Files: 274 MB
Photos: 112 MB
Music+Video: 14 GB
Office Documents: 9.9 MB
E-mail+Contact: 82 MB
Maps: 231 MB
Ringtones: 0 KB
System: 1.6 GB
Other: 1.1 GB

So there is definitely some difference between the two. I'm thinking that it maybe saves certain game info in the "Other" section in the Phone Storage section, while the Storage Check filters it into the actual Apps section.
