Got my Lumia 920, wow, I love it. Much better than my 900. Have the white one, if anyone's curious. However, I want a case. Preferably a silicon skin type, but not the adhesive kind. These seem to be in short supply.

I know the Microsoft Store carries them, but that's 1.5 hr drive. AT&T COR stores here don't carry them (which I find odd, but whatever). And amazon, while they have many to choose from, most have poor ratings/reviews... e.g. doesn't fit the phone snugly, no punched holes for the noise cancellation mic at the top, etc.

I was looking for a decent/good green case, silicon skin style. Found one on Amazon, but was a hard plastic. Returned that one. The Microsoft store sold a green "skin" made from silicon for the Lumia 900. Any idea how we can get that for the Lumia 920?

Or other cases that the wpcentral.com store doesn't carry?

Ebay! With my iphone i bought several $20-$30 cases, but now with my lumia the most ive spent on a case is about $2.
I swear they are the same, just minus the company logo.....
(unless of course you want fancy designs)

I just upgraded to the 920 from the 900 too. It feels a lot more premium, although I do miss the AMOLED screen.

I figured Nokia would have made a gel case for the Lumia 920 like it did for the 900. I had one of those and it was pretty decent. I did a cursory search on AT&T's Web site but didn't really find anything that resembled those. Odd.

CC-1043 official Nokia cases can be found on Amazon in yellow, red, black, gray and cyan. No green, though (as of yet).

    I'm personally using these.

Another happy CC-1043 case user here. It even reduced the chance of dust buildup in the front facing camera lens.

I would buy the CC-1043! I currently own 3 so I can swap colors.
They are quite cheap (10 euros in The Netherlands) and they fit great.
They do not add too much bulk, but do protect the screen and especially the zirconium and lens on the back!

+1 for the CC-1043. I got one for my dad's phone and might get one for myself. I really wish they could have made it a *tiny* bit squishier and gel-like just for some extra grip. Only other complaint is that the side buttons are somewhat obscured because they are so low profile on the 920 (I'm not sure this case will work with gloves). I think the buttons will be an issue with any case that lacks a complete cut-out on the side. I also tried the Incipio Feather and found I just didn't like it very much- even less grippy than the 1043 and the wrap-around style just looked weird without any top or bottom coverage.

Right now I'm just using an Invisible Shield back/side protector on my phone and I'm pretty happy. Unless you look really close it appears to be naked, but it has a little grip and a little protection so I'm not as worried about drops or putting it on something.

Yes, CC-1043 is a very good case... Be aware, though - the phone side buttons are a little bit hard to press with it (because they are basically "flush" with case's cutouts) and it's not very convenient to remove it very often (this is in case if you need to swap SIM cards for whatever reason - there's no cutout for SIM card "door" in this case).

CC-1043 here as well. Tried a few others from Ebay, but nothing fit or looked as well as the 1043. Only drawback has been I can't find a seller in the U.S. and I have no patience. hehe

I never replied to thank anyone, and I apologize for that!

Thanks for the tips. I ended up going thru 5 or 6 cases on Amazon, before settling on 3:

Amazon.com: Blue Rubberized Hard Cover Case for Nokia Lumia 920: Cell Phones & Accessories

Amazon.com: Red Rubberized Hard Cover Case for Nokia Lumia 920: Cell Phones & Accessories

These two are the same maker, and are a 2 piece snap on case. They're much more radiant than the pictures lead on. The blue is a metallic cobalt, and the red is a metallic garnet. Quite beautiful. And yes, they seem "cheap", but they're quite nice!

And of course: Amazon.com: Nokia 02733Q1 CC-1043 Cover for Lumia 920 - 1 Pack - Retail Packaging - Red: Cell Phones & Accessories

I never found a green case I liked, unfortunately. The one I did kinda like turned out to be something that kept me awake at night, as it was SO bright.

For the first two cases mentioned, is the phone raised, or when laid down it makes contact with the surface it is laying on? Thanks!

The bottom cover makes contact with whatever surface it's laying on.. but the cover is thick enough so that the camera/flash don't touch that surface. On an average table, that is. To clarify: The phone doesn't touch the table, desk, etc. Only the cover of the case.

The other downside to those 2 cases, you have to notch a hole at the top for the noise cancelling mic. Easy peasy.

It's a 2 piece snap on.. so remove the phone from case, snap it together, and use a small drill or dremel tool to cut it. Voila.

Don't try and buy a white one from Amazons sellers. Tried 2 and both discolored within a month. I'd get a color one for a white phone.

Yeah, this is a little annoying. Not sure how it will work with gloves in the winter.

Its true that the case causes the side buttons to be flush but it is not difficult at all to press any side button. I don't know where your getting that from.
