Volume rocker issue

I am having a new issue with my Lumia 920. If I press the volume up button on my Lumia 920 sometimes the volume level will jump up like crazy.

For example if I am at volume level 1 and press up it will jump up to 5.

Sometimes if I press up the volume will continue going up until it stops at 30.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a hardware or software issue? Could some dirt or debris be stuck under the rocker button?

My simple opinion is to just swap it out. Call Nokia Care. They're amazing.
