A few questions that I hope you all could answer for me (I have spent the morning on this site and others trying to find the answers but I still don't have that warm fuzzy feeling).

Calendar: Month view has random text as a placeholder for an event. Because it's random and readable, any rumors or news out there suggesting that Microsoft plans to rework this approach?

Outlook (with Outlook.com email account): When I receive html emails (i.e. Windows Marketplace receipts), the images fail to display. I understand that Microsoft has decided to default to this behavior but I am also under the impression that I can tell the app to download the images anyways (maybe even a global setting). However, on my phone (ver 1249), I cannot locate this option? What am I missing?

Internet Explorer: I'm experiencing some real random behavior when it comes to videos. Vimeo displays a video's frame but tells me that I need a browser that supports H.264 (which I thought IE 10 Mobile did) as well as a banner saying that my browser is out of date. On the flip side, YouTube initially displays a banner telling me that I need Flash but then refreshes and loads the video (however, some YouTube videos just wont load because Flash isn't installed). Finally, some sites won't even load a video's frame. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance and my apologies if I missed a "newbie thread" or something similar.

Calendar: No idea... The text is too small to read anyways.
Mail: My client doesn't recieve Pictures, but if I tap a Picture, all Graphics are downloaded.
IE: This is normal for now. Not all video-sites support HTML5-video and not all videos are available in HTML5.

Calendar: Yeah they did that on wP7 where the res was too low to read. However they never fixed it for WP8 and now i can read it. It's a tad annoying but i dont use month view very often. No reports suggesting this will be fixed.

Outlook: You can click wither the images placeholder or at the top to display images, i dont know if you can make it do it by default though.

IE: I believe there is a vimeo app, also try metrotube (or many others) for youtube.

On the Vimeo issue, this is a bug in Vimeo's player, which they have acknowledged and a fix is on the way:

Embedded playback issues with Android 4.0+ and Windows Phone devices on Vimeo
