920 won't pair with car stereo (bluetooth 2.0)

My lumia 920 will not pair with my VDO cd9303ub-cv equipped with bluetooth. According to the manual my radio has bluetooth 2.0. My previous phone (galaxy ace S5830) works perfectly with it but my lumia can't seem to find it. Also, my lumia CAN connect with my old phone and transfer files, so the bluetooth on my lumia is working as well. Is there some setting I can change on the phone or are they just not compatible?

PS: My lumia was sent away last week and I just got it back yesterday, updated to the latest software version.
