change default camera app

Perhaps I am just dumb, but I've searched and cannot find any information on changing the default camera app that is attached to the camera button. Camera360 seems like a cool app and would like to use it in replacement for the default camera.

Am I missing something obvious here? photos+camera doesn't help much

You are not missing anything obvious because we cannot change default applications in WP. It's just not possible.

You can launch any of your favourite camera apps from within the OS camera app. When you press hardware button and launch camera, on soft buttons you will see an option of "lenses" - tap on that and you can select what app you want to enter without having to go out and search for that app on the menu to open it. It's as good as a default option gets on WP.
