Hello, all. I currently have a Lumia 920 on AT&T's network here in the US, and am having problems sending video clips via SMS. I've recorded a video of about a minute and a half, and when I try to SMS it to a contact, the phone states that it cannot attach the file.
My questions are these:
My phone is running the latest firmware (8.0.10211.204) as of the time of this posting. I otherwise love this phone (I'm a recovering iPhone user), but the inability to send video messages is very frustrating and illogical to me.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions y'all could offer.
My questions are these:
- Is there a file size limitation I need to watch out for regarding SMS attachments?
- If so, how do I go about reducing my video file size to meet the SMS size requirements? I've even gone so far as to re-encode the video at a smaller resolution and lower frame rate on my desktop, and even at the smaller file size, still can't attach the video.
- If there's no file size ceiling, is there an update or app I can install that will allow me to attach and send video messages?
