Unlocked 920 on T-Mobile Internet Sharing: 'Service Upgrade Required'

I moved to T-Mobile over the weekend with two ATT 920s. All is finally working well, good LTE speeds (26mbps!), but internet sharing is, unfortunately, not working. Per T-Mobile, Hotspot is definitely on my account, but whenever I try to turn it on, I get the message that 'Service Upgrade Required' and redirects me to T-Mobile. Has anyone else seen this?

Yes. Just install the Spanish Keyboard and that will allow it to work. It's a bit tricky and all, but it does the job. After you install the spanish keyboard restart your phone but first make sure you have the right MMS Settings and all for data & such.

I did this and it worked for a bit but now I am trying it again and am presented with that same upgrade required screen. Can't do the same trick with the spanish keyword since the os is already updated with the last attempt so there is nothing new to install.....

Have to hard reset to fix. FYI do not open access point after the keyboard is installed or it will break again. Make sure all your access point info is correct before the keyboard is installed.

Try flashing the Rogers 920 ROM, it doesn't have accesspoint installed.
