As weird it my sound but that is how my Lumia 920 Lens is.
After using it for more than 3 months, I just happened to carefully look at my phone's primary camera lens. And was surprised to find it off the centre. I am attaching an image for reference. I clearly feel it is a manufacturing defect.
Can anyone suggest if I can make a claim at Nokia care for replacement on it.
The camera functions normally though. But it certainly looks weird. And I personally don't think that I should keep on living with such a defect after buying top of the line handset of the company.
PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! guys give a feed back on this. It will help me negotiate at Nokia care appropriately and save my hard earned money.

Its under warranty. Contact Nokia and put in a claim. They are usually pretty good about such things.

Yeah, definitely contact Nokia. That should not be happening, and Nokia is usually good about things where they mess up in build quality or manufacturing of their products. And, if on the off chance that Nokia will not help you, contact Stephen Elop via email and he should be able to help you out..

Mine isn't either (however, I'm not sure if it's just protector rather than lens) and on top of that the lens has clear visible flaws. No wonder why my pictures looked like crap. At least now I have something to show this time. Going to mention that it's not in centre either.

mine is like this as well, I believe all 920's are like this, my friend's 920 is also like this =p, but the camera (the ''button'' in the middle, has ''room'' for it), don't worry =)

Well, definitely not the case of floating lens. Also, the default position of the lens is in the centre. Check out some images of the Lumia 920 camera.
It is a little box which holds the floating lens. The box is solidly soldered to the main board which ruled out the possibility of it shifting. The little black glass lens part is what actually shuffles but eventually in the centre. So it means that the camera is produced with a defect or soldered on a particular batch by Nokia.
I also noticed that my 920 couldn't get me sharp images of trees just a few meters away. I used to imagine what is interfering the focus? Guess it being off centre, the edge of the shell might be. I mean even my friend's chinese phone like micromax canvas 2 could get better landscape shots.

    your guess is wrong!!!
The floating lens floats and dances in this little box but eventually gets back to its default central position. This box is fixed on main board. See carefully, our pics of the off centered lens. The frame of the box is itself off.

I drop my phone so much I'm surprised mine is not like the OPs lens position. Mine is not perfect center nor do I think I have problems with the results.
