I bought one of the first 920s last November. On and off I've had battery issues. I don't use the phone a lot and if it lasted all day that was OK since I charge it every night.
Two weeks ago it started lasting only 8 hours or so and that was unacceptable. I had heard of people claiming to get excellent battery life but couldn't believe their phones could be that different from mine. My wife has the same phone, we got them the same day, and had similar issues to mine.
Anyway, 8 hours just wasn't enough so I called ATT and they agreed to swap out my phone.
Long story short, what a difference. I've been getting 2-3 days between charges with the same light usage.
If you aren't getting this kind of battery time don't hesitate to swap out your phone.
