I can flash directly or I have to flash first Rogers Rom Pre Portico and then that I mentioned above

I cant access my settings app. Anyone have any solution to this? my lumia was bricked, so i downloaded the pre-portico rogers firmware to see if that would work. i succeeded at flashing it and i have gotten to the nokia home screen, but now some apps wont load up. And in order to futher my phone updates OTA i cant do it do to not loading my settings app. Anyway around this? or can i fix this? I have a yellow nokia lumia 920 on the rogers pre-portico firmware now. 059Q6W4
