I've had my Lumia 920 since launch and kept the video recording at 1080p rather than the default 720p. I just wanted to know does the quality of the video get worse on 1080p compared to 720p. I've read on some blogs that the audio and image stabilization are negatively affected when the Lumia 920 is put on 1080p compared to 720p. Does anyone know?

Hmm, the link you posted, rockstarzzz, is about 720p vs. 1080i, and not 720p vs 1080p. :(

I don't understand how the optical image stabilization would be affected by switching the resolution to 1080p. That is a common occurrence on phones with digital stabilization since it has to "zoom" to give the appearance of stability, but that does not happen on the 920. All you are getting is a higher quality video with more detail in the frame when you switch to 1080p, nothing more, nothing less. 720p is best for those who would prefer to save space as it does not take up as much room as 1080p recording does.
