Now that MetroPCS finally issued SIM cards, I can get some WP8 love. While they are releasing the 521, I want something a bit bigger. I found a used 920 near my school and the person is willing to sell it for a low price. There are two caveats that worry me though. First, the screen is cracked all over. Would this eventually make the phone useless. If so, is it possible to repair the phone? Second, the 920 is for AT&T. Is anyone on T-Mobile (since MetroPCS is now operating as a T-Mo subsidiary) and not the pentaband version, tell me about the internet connection. I know the 920 doesn't have the 1700/2100 bands, so will I be stuck on 2G most of the time? Thanks for the help.

The second will mostly be true, unless you're in a refarmed area. (If it's the international version, you shouldn't worry)

Now, the first...prepare for some DIY, or contact Nokia.
