L920 shutoff?

I went to make a phone call and noticed that my phone was off. I cannot make it turn back on. I have plugged it in, but no luck. How can I get my phone to turn back on?

I googled the problem and found a solution. I had to hold down the volume down button and the power button simultaneously. That worked. However, I do not know why it randomly powered off.

The same thing happened to my mother's 620 earlier today, only the soft reset method didn't work! I had to pull the battery to get it working again. :straight:
