using unlocked ee uk mobile on three uk

Hi, purchased a locked to ee lumia 920.
Is there any befit in me flashing it to three firmware?
Im thinking it may be why I cant get phone to send it receive mms?
Also is there a way to get navufirm / Nokia care suite working on a win 8 pc?

I had a slight problem with MMS's coming in as web links. Had to download MMS settings from T-Mobile support pages to cure it. They've changed the menu slightly so it maybe hard to find.

edit : Just had a look on there customer support pages, apparently you can text FIXME to 150 and it sends back the settings you need.
