I updated my phone's software the other day and people can only hear me clearly in speaker mode

People can't hear me when i'm trying to make calls in handset mode, but can hear me clearly in speaker mode since I updated my phone. Is anyone else having this issue and what could I do to resolve it because obviously in public situations talking on the phone on speaker isn't ideal.

Hard reset probably would fix it. Warranty if not.
