Rogers Lumia 920 black update issue

Am having a rogers lumia 920 and i am using it unlocked in India , the firmware still being that of rogers , so i saw the black update is ready to install yesterday started the install and even now the gears are rotating :crying: i don't know what to do

Gonna try nokia software recovery tool

Volume Down + Power to soft reset and try again

its fine now , installed it manually with latest software version , but does the black update drain the battery quickly ?

I haven't noticed a faster battery drain. In fact, I charged my phone around 7 hours ago and it's still at 85%.

For me it does. Before Black update my battery would drain at around 2% per hour and now it's at 6% per hour minimum!

My battery has somewhat improved, 35 to 34% on idle+wifi in 8 hours. I am using it on T-Mobile LTE

My Rogers L920 Battery did improve with Black update a little, but too soon to tell.

Yesterday was the first day since the Black update that I allowed my phone to go a full day between charging. Of course, it was at 16% by the time I finally charged it last night. Before Black, I typically only charged my battery every other day (once or twice every other TWO days), but the first couple of days after the update, I charged daily.

Could someone provide the OS version that came with the Black update? I was on Dev Preview when I updated and received only the Black firmware, no OS update
