Dead pixels?

Hi all,

Strange behaviour from my phone this morning. All was fine when I used it this morning and then when I got to work I saw a pink line running straight down the middle of the phone. I presume this is a line of dead pixels. Anyone know if this is fixable other than replacing the screen?

Send the screen shot.....Sometime "digitizer" replacement has to be done for dead pixel....

Interestingly it doesn't appear to show on a screenshot. Just ran the Sims, took a screenshot and when moving the phone into portrait mode I expected to be able to see the line running horizontally along the image, however there was still only 1 line visible on the screen - the original running vertically.

Actually I don't know whether that is interesting or not. I can't decide whether that is expected behaviour or not. The more I think about it the more I think it is expected behaviour.
