I used Nokia Care Suite (Product Support Tool For Store 5.0) and a Vodafone Italy Lumia 920 product code (059Q9S4) and downloaded the Cyan+WP8.1 firmware (RM821_3051.50009.1424.0018_RETAIL_eu_italy_233_18_440723_prd_signed.ffu).
Followed the required steps to update the phone and was successfully.
Then I restored my WP8.1 Developer Preview onedrive backup with all my setting and apps, not pictures, since I keep them on Flickr (1tb free space) with Flickr Booth auto upload over the wifi option.
I am very happy to see that Nokia (MS) finally approved Bluetooth LE option on our 2012 Lumia 920 phones. This phone is much more capable than it is allowed it to - the Living Images worked very nice with Nokia Camera Beta, but Nokia (MS) removed it without notice. Anyway, I'm very happy with this Cyan update, I can now use my Fitbit Flex and sync it anytime I want - very nice :)

I have been able to successfully download (RM821_3051.50009.1424.0018_RETAIL_eu_italy_233_18_440723_prd_signed.ffu). Used Navifirm+ to do this...same way that I flashed to "Black" Trying to decide whether or not to do the flash process again. I am currently running PD 8.1 update1. Sounds like I will have to take it back to WP8 in order to download the official update from ATT . Just about the same thing isn't it?

It doesn't matter what part of the world you are when you're using Nokia Care Suite to update your device. I am from Romania, but I have a Lumia 920 from EE UK the laziest mobile company when it comes to Over The Air updates. I used my phone with DP WP8.1 before this Cyan, I even downgrade it to WP8 just to be able to get the update OTA, but nothing. I kept searching for Vodafone Lumia 920 product codes that got the Cyan update and that's the one I found and I download it and I updated my phone, even if, I have a different product code. I am on Vodafone Romania mobile, so no big deal, just a Vodafone logo splash screen and some apps that you can easily remove.
Thanks to the WP8.1 DP backup on onedrive I was able to restore it and use it as before, but now on Cyan.
My signal is full, I have mobile data H+ (not 4G since I don't use it) and now I will make another backup and when EE UK release the official CYAN firmware for my genuine Lumia 920 product code, then I will flash it again with that one. Easy.

Thank you

Iulian

Can anyone with Navifirm check if Cyan is available for Nokia Lumia 920 (black) for Rogers Wireless in Canada. I'm thinking of downgrading back to 8.0, but Rogers has not released the update OTA yet, still showing as "under testing".

Thanks

I've got Navifirm 1.7 with downloaded Cache-folder and all I can find are old releases starting with a 1232.*** so this is not Cyan. How can I get the Cyan?

Thank you.

You don't get cyan. You get a firmware for a region that is eligible for CYAN ( eg Italy CV), flash that firmware and then you can get cyan over the air when you check for updates on your phone

Anyone wanna confirm if this works on Rogers devices (specifically, preserving the AWS bands?)

Rogers really is taking their sweet time with this. Maybe one of the best iOS advantages is that carriers can pound sand on having a say in iOS updates, Apple pushes them directly and to everyone.

I have my L920 on DP update 1, and my friends was on 8 (cause he is not really into messing with his device). Since August 8th Vodafone GR(Greece) has realised the Cyan update (not update 1 of course). If anyone is interested, you can use RM-821_eu_greece_281, to get official Cyan. Vodafone GR is really quick in giving updates. And except from the vf logo at the startup screen, you only get 2-3 apps that you can easily delete.
