Battery problem or something else?

I have a AT&T 920. As I left for work this morning I had it my hand. I checked where I needed to go and I wanted to use my GPS. While in the car, all I did was plug in my USB cable and the phone went black!!!!! It would not restart. I knew I was going to have a bad day. I went inside and grabbed my other 920 with a broken screen but one that I know works otherwise. I left the phone that went black on charge all day long.

I just took it off the charger, it is not even warm. I assume the battery is shot? Or could it be something else?

Does the black screen Lumia get banged up often, if so pop your device open and check the battery connection. The can get disconnect when hit just right

Try a soft reset. Happens to my 925 often...

I will open it up and Saturday morning and see what it looks like. It does not get banged around although I put it in my daily bag I take to work.
