Trying to find a phone to upgrade

Don't you guys think that our 920's are too good to upgrade? I want to buy a new phone, because the 920's battery life is simply horrible. I like the 830, but I don't find it as a real upgrade, even though it has a better camera and microSD support. The 930 lacks Glance, which is a must-have feature for me. Finally, the 1520 would be the perfect phone if it had a 5 inch screen.
I love WP, but since there's no real upgrade for my L920, I may switch to android, although I already had an android device and I truly hated it...

Well, you can simply replace your phones battery.

Interesting talk about switching to Android (you should try Blackberry!) because Glance isn't exactly a standard feature over there, nor on iOS.
You sound like you're trying to upgrade for the sake of upgrading, even if it means being worse off...

My 920's battery life improved tremendously with the six updates that preview for devs did when I finally registered on Microsoft's app studio program, so try installing those if you haven't already.

Batteries degrade over time. So try getting a battery replacement and keep a power brick around in case you need it.

yeah, replace your battery, there's a few YouTube videos that show you how to do it for a 920. that'll get you past the W10 intro where everyone is expecting the 920 successor

Well i did go from a 920 to the 830 just for the battery and yeah, it's an upgrade for sure. But I feel ya, I still play with my 920 everyday. One of the best Windows Phones ever made

I feel like I'm in a similar situation in terms of just wanting to upgrade for that shiny new phone feeling - nothing wrong with my year old 920 (though battery life is getting worse, I just plug in to my laptop when I can). I've considered the 1320, the 1520 (no longer available in the UK) and now the 640XL but yet to switch, I probably won't be able to justify switching from ?18.50 a month for my 920 to ?30/35 a month for the W10 flagship either. Hmmm.
