How to recognize SIM card after installing W10 preview?

As the title says. After installing W10 preview on my Lumia 920 the SIM card is not recognized. What are my options?

Two options.

Hard reset seems to correct the problem. If not you need to roll back to W8.1.

If those aren't options you should never have loaded the TP.

Hard reset -Settings -> About -> Reset phone

This wipes your phone completely clean. Be sure to backup prior to it.

This requires a PC and internet. This will install the old OS.

Yes, use the software I indicated above. That will revert you back to WP8.1

A hard reset doesn't revert you back by the way.

Well that's not good but have tried plugging it into a USB cable yet? When I tried W10 on my phone it 'died' on me but then came on when I plugged it in to USB.

Also holding down the power button will sometimes cause a 'reset' to perform and it may turn it on.

I tried everything, nothing worked. Not even hard reset with three buttons. The phone does not come up.

Did you download, install the software, run it and plug in the phone?

That is how it was. I downloaded this How to roll back from Windows 10 Preview to Windows Phone 8.1 | Windows Central and started the process. It showed a progress bar on my phone. Dont remember if it was any movement on it. Then the software said that the process has failed. Restart the program and connect your phone or something like this. After that the phone is not powering up.

Ah. Well.

The only thing left now is sending it in for repair unfortunately. Hopefully that's an easy process...

They did mention that they upgraded the recovery tool recently.
