I got my 925 on friday and first of this is my first Windows Phone and I love it! So beautiful everything about it, coming from an iPhone 5 I was reluctant, but glad I went through with it!..

But coming from an iPhone with a more mature older OS I do see some features which are missing (Or I'm just an *****) lol.

So I can't seem to Manually get the camera to re-focus whilst recording, if I tap the screen it obviously stops/starts recording?

Another problem I come across is watching a video in IE then getting a text, and coming back to find the video hasn't bothered to stay open??

Thanks in advance, I understand this could come under a different forum, thread thingy, Just wasn't sure which one

Apparently we cant tap to focus without capturing or start/stop video, i think MS did this to fit with the camera interface. But i hope the they will consider this as wp devices have powerful camera.

IE and video player are not in the same app, so if you go back to your IE of course it wont show your video but if you go back to the video player app from the multitasking page you can

Ahh that's a bummer! It has such a awesome camera I want to film things up close haha

Oh right so if I'm watching a video off the internet 'couch tuner' for example and I get a text and press the home button and come back, the video will have close because that's how it works?

I don't know if it really works this way or not, but when taking video with my other Windows Phones I found that pressing the camera button so that only the first stage of it is activated (like when you soft press it to focus before a picture) it will often start to re-focus the video capture. It could have been the camera started to auto-focus anyway, but I figured I'd share just in case.

I realised why it wasn't focusing, I had the continuous focus setting toggled off, I must having been playing around with the field of depth whilst taking videos the other day!.. Silly me ><

Was going to say, I just tested by shooting a video and changing subjects and distances quickly and the auto-focus worked perfectly without me having to do anything.
