Don't feel bad. The 925 is a remarkable device. Regret over buying the 925 is just silly. Appreciate what you have! There's a lot to appreciate :)

Eh... Typical. People are always complaining about the next great device released, lamenting about the one they bought at the time. Just enjoy your 925 because it's a snazzy phone! I wanted it when it was announced but had bitten the bullet and bought a 920. But you know what? I'm enjoying my 920 and am satisfied with having it.

I know I know, but still! I'm going to wait for a well done review and for it to release sim only and then make my decision although in not sure how easy it will be to get someone to buy a WP

I've deliberately waited for the 1020 to see if it pushes the price of the sim free 925 down, but did spend a little time considering if getting a 1020 would be better, but tbh, given that its just really a better camera, it seems better to still get the 925.

I agree. 1020 seems to be a niche product targeted at photography buffs and anyone who wants the latest thing. If photography isn't a priority for you, the 925 or 920 look like better deals to me.

I see where you're coming from. But I am waiting for v2.0 of the 1020. Maybe by then it will no longer be "just not-ugly enough to own". Though it would be nice to have all the ladies asking me what is that mysterious bulge in my pocket.

seriously, i dont reckon the 1020 is better, sure it has just 1gb of extra RAM, but its not going to affect anything but that camera, apps and games wont be made to work with the extra ram, so...meh.

with the Pro Shoot camera app coming to other lumia devices, i dont see a problem.

Hmm well if the Pro Camera lens improves the flexiblity of the camera I will be a little bit happier but I don't like having a stand alone camera as it's a separate device when I could just get the 41MP Lumia and kill two bird with one stone ..

Damn you Nokia ><!

I consider waiting for the 1020 but got a 925 yesterday, so far I love it. I have absolutely no need or desire to have a 41MP camera on my phone. That is serious overkill.

The thing about cell phones is that there is always something "bigger and better" either about to come out, or coming out in just a few months, so really you have to just decide when the right time for you is. For me the 925 is everything I want in a WP8 device and will probably last me until 8.1 has its first update, or possibly even longer. I used my Arrive (HTC 7 Pro) for two years, well into WP8's life cycle.

So yeah, at some point in time you'll need to just say to yourself "this is enough for me for now" and bite the bullet.

I think they are two very different phones because of the form factors. I love taking pictures and that is the most important thing to me. I do think that the 925 by far has the best form factor of any phone in the market which makes it even harder because the form factor of the 1020 seems terrible.

I like this post. My thought is that 8 mp is more than enough for a daily driver. I just wish T-Mo was selling the black one.

Ditto. I wonder how long before we see the SIM Free 925 drop in price? I'm itching to pull th trigger. Also, WHEN are Brodit/Proclip going to release a powered holder for the 925 so I can get this thing mounted in my car?
