Unlocked 925 on tmobile prepaid

If I get an unlocked 925, can I just switch out my sim in my 521 to the 925. Will that work?

Yes. That's what I did. I had a 521 on the $30 5GB plan, bought a 925 with a new plan for my wife. Swapped the cards and everything was set.

It opens apps a bit faster, camera is 10x better, and the screen blows the 521 out of the water.

Yes of course. With a GSM phone so long as the SIM card is the correct size (ie: MircoSIM) you can switch between any phone, regardless of operating system.

Well not so fast I had an 810 and got the 925 just used old SIM WiFi calling wouldn't work so I called them they said for WiFi calling and lte you would need to use the new card but they will sell you one for 10

Really? WiFi calling wouldn't work for me at first, but it was because my account didn't have a 911 emergency address. Once I added one to my account Wifi calling works. LTE has worked on my prepaid SIM card since I got it in May.

I just unlocked my 925 today (had to pay it off and had my account for over 60 days) and I have been using the same MicroSim that I used on my L920 I brought over from AT&T, then on a Z10 I had for a month and Galaxy S4 (had for 3 weeks) and had no problems accessing all the features including WiFi calling on the S4 and 925.

All I know is my tile was red said reg 90 updated 911 still red called he said does your SIM card say tm9190 no it doesn't said check the new one ,yes its 9190 put it in and bam it works

A lot better. As others have pointed out, it has a faster processor, double the memory, a larger screen with greater pixel density, and has a better camera in back. Beyond that, it has multiple features the 521 doesn't have, such as LTE, HSPA+ 42, a front camera (so you can video chat), Gorilla Glass 2, image stabilization and a flash on the camera, a gyro, a compass, and an FM radio.

The only think I can think of the 925 doesn't have that the 521 does is the microSD card slot.

OP, do you mean an unlocked 925 from overseas? If so then you won't get WiFi Calling or LTE on T-Mobile.

Can we buy this phone, use for some 1-2 months and then use it for At&T.. I want to do this because am not sure if TMO network in my office. I have seen many complaining they cant get proper network.. So if its same for me, can i use ATT on lumia 925 ?
