Hello everyone,

My apologies if this question has been asked before. I did some searching around and i could not find an answer. Here goes:

How can i prevent my screen from lighting up with every notification I get?

I get alot of messages from whatsapp and each time a message comes in, the screen lights up. It's annoying and I am sure it isnt healthy for battery life.

Try covering the proximity sensor.

Also, the notifications lighting up the screen will prevent you from missing push notifications.
