hello there.
I recently got myself a 925 and im a little puzzeld about few things regarding the Glance screen / glance background app
tried looking for a place to ask regarding the app itself but didnt find any so i'll ask here instead, hoping someone could shed some light on the matter.
the problem i have with glance backgrounds is the interlacing of images that happens.
any default image of the app does NOT exhibit this issue so i know it's possible to draw using all pixels on the screen ,but any custom image loaded on glance background automatically interlaces
(every second vertical row of pixels is blank)
is this just a feature of the app or am i doing something wrong here ?
tried using 32bit, 16 bit, 8 bit and 2 bit (2 color) images, various image formats and they all do the same.
why are users not allowed to make backgrounds without interlacing as it is clearly possible seeing the default images of the app do not exhibit this behavior ? (the glance clock also is not interlaced)
any help would be fine.
ps. i do realize this has to do with screen burn and battery usage and whatnot, but i dont really care about any of that, if i get burns, i'll just buy a new screen for the phone
i rather it's pretty than lasts me forever.
