Lumia 925 will not pair to Lenovo Yoga 13 running on Windows 8.1

Firstly, I have deinstalled a previous Nokia Asha 302 device that was linked to the PC
I removed the Nokia Suite software the Asha used

When trying to pair the phone and the PC, the status Connected shows up briefly in the Bluetooth settings panel, and then goes back to Not Connected. Tried multiple times with the same result.

The phone connects normally via cable (USB).
