How to force LTE and/or 3G only?

hi guys i need help please. i have a nokia lumia 925. i would like to know if there is a way in which to set my device to only be on LTE and/or 3G signal instead of it switching between ''E" , ''H+'' and ''3G'' network as it pleases. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The only way to have any setting control is -> Settings -> Mobile Network -> Highest connection speed

That's it. Nothing else.

by default, it takes the fastest connection that's available.
Worth noting that H+ is still 3G. More like a 3.5G, the US carriers often marketed it as 4G. (leading to its nickname "fauxG"

Assuming you have sufficient LTE coverage and your phone supports your region's LTE bands (I would check these first), I would take a peek in Field Test (or Cellular in settings) and I don't remember how to get there via the dialer, so hopefully someone else can clue us in.
I don't think you can set it to use ONLY a certain connection a la all-or-nothing though.
