I had a 925 when they first came out and changed it for a 1020 but I always missed the lightness, thinness, aluminium build and lack of a camera hump.

I recently noticed my network (Three UK) have the 925 down to ?16 a month with ?29 up front, that includes 1gb of data, 300 minutes and unlimited texts.

Having recently switched to android and found myself missing WP I went ahead and ordered one. I did consider waiting for a 930 but at double the monthly cost and given the fact that the 925 is my favourite WP I didn't think it was worth it.

Anyway, I get it on Monday and can't wait, great value I think at ?16 a month. :)

I just bought a 925 off of Ebay. Should be here early next week.
Note 3 on Verizon is still my main phone, but I have been using a 521 on Tmobile to play with WP 8.1 (and take advantage of their unlimited international data roaming). So far I love it and am ready to move up to a bigger and better screen.
Looking forward to stepping up to the 925.

Sony 16.7" Touch screen laptop w/8.1
Surface Pro 2 w/ 8.1
soon Lumia 925 w/ 8.1

I bought mine (slightly used) off ebay too some months ago. Cost me ?150, I use it with Three UK on a ?6.90pm contract (not bad especially as I get 4G connectivity without paying any extra). Just recently I bought a NEW one for my wife for the same money from ebay. We will be moving her to the same Three contract as well when her Orange/EE contract is up.

Started playing with my new to me 925. The phone is in perfect condition, so I am very pleased with my Ebay purchase.

went thru 4 updates to get 8.1 loaded. Love the screen and overall size and the speed difference from my 521.
I used Here drive for about a 45 drive and the phone got smoking hot, so hot I shut it down. Is that normal?

They are still so expensive in Europe. I am sooo happy I bought mine in the states for only 200 dollars, including a car charger, headset and screen protectors. T-Mobile even removed the simlock, and I am happily using my US 925 in Europe, with a European ROM :D Incredible phone. I wanted to upgrade to a 1320, but after seeing the screen and colors, I changed my mind. The 925 has an awesome screen.

All phones get hot using GPS, especially if you have it sitting in the windshield with the sun beating down on it.
Get yourself a phone holder that attaches to, or sits in front of, your a/c vents. It will work wonders on keeping your phone cool on long trips.

Mine runs hot when doing certain things but it's never really bothered me, I think most modern phones run hot when doing anything that requires significant processing.
