I have to admit that the 925 is still an amazing device - except for one small, but glaring error - the lack of storage space. When the 925 came out a year plus ago, the 16GB of storage was only a minor concern. Since then, games have become larger, videos become longer and 16GB doesn't go as far as it used to. This issue could be solved with one little tiny line of code that would enable USB On The Go. It's the feature that Android has built in to allow mounting of "external USB" devices.

What this simple fix would do, is allow minimal device memory devices, which could even include the 32GB 920's and 1020's (38MP photos eat up a ton of room don't they?) to send files to a USB pen drive or flash drive using a simple $1.50 adapter cable from Amazon. You can get a 64GB flash drive for about $40 now, which makes them very affordable and easy to store.

Anyone else thinking that getting this in Microsoft's court would be a good idea?

And PS - Yes I posted this in the 925 section because - as a whole - we are the most impacted by this due to the limited memory of our devices.

    There's already a uservoice https://windowsphone.uservoice.com/f...-windows-phone

Let's hope they stop with the low internal storage nonsense but I'm not holding my breath.

God dammit tell me about it....
Whenever I see the 1520, the only thing that attracts me the most is.....MICRO SD CARD SLOT!
My 1020 is dying to have the OTG support so that my flash drives can come in handy!!!

It may not be as simple as a line of code, as the phone has to be designed with this in mind so it sends the necessary power to the micro usb port for the flash drive to function.

I really wish they would add USB OTG functionality though, as I backed this on kickstarter before I switched from android, and now it is just collecting dust.

It really is that simple... Maybe not one line, but the device already acts as a USB MSD when hooked to a PC... It's a simple issue of reversing the connection to be a host. If - and it's a big IF - WP was open sourced, XDA would have had this as a 'File Manager' option a year ago. Since it isn't, we have to depend on MS to get it done.

Actually, I have had zero issues with any of my drives (including a 500GB WD external) and my HTC One.
