    Hi ppl...
Just updated my 925 to cyan, and one thing I just cant get over was instant msging that has been taken out...
I chat a lot over instant as well as sms and the removal of that feature is mind boggling to me...
Is there a way to revert back off cyan to amber of whatever it was...

to roll back... you can use nokia software recovery tool... But coming from WP8.. you have a lot of new features... (action center, 3 tile suport, background images,....,......) why do you wanna roll back?
Instant messaging was taken out, since dedicated facebook messenger app is now available...!

Thats because FB has changed their rules. They have separated both their app and messenger on all platforms so this had nothing to do with Microsoft.

FOR 925, the Cyan update is just a pure wp8.1 upgrade, what specific new features are there?

Hi guys, I just got my update from German Vodafone 32GB special edition. But after reading WPCentral post, I realized all the specific feature from the Cyan is fro newer device like 930 or 1520, there are none that is specific to us?

    Am I right?
YES YOU ARE RIGHT, nothing new for Nokia Lumia 925

Ah, no. I didn't use the old integration with Facebook, since I had no way to send photos or stickers in chat.

I am also wondering that, I've just spotted that new color on a 930 running Cyan and am wonderin if this is a general Cyan feature or 930 exclusive. I fear the latter, considering the 925 got nothing new compared to DP.

8.1 seems to be doing its job well but the new creative studio seems to heat the phone rather quickly .overall the phone behaves well ( gud batt, less heat)but I do miss the Google search page launch instead of Bing frm the dedicated search key

Brightness Profile Users can set the default average brightness for their phone. Unlike the Lumia 630, which has controls for all three levels (low, medium and high), the Lumia 930 has a single slider. My guess is this sets the median, default brightness
Color Profile With Lumia Cyan there are now three presets (Standard, Vivid and Cool) in addition to Advanced, which lets the user modify three settings, including color temperature, tint, and color saturation via slider.
930 also has three sliders.. Just change the brightness to Low/Medium/High and the other three sliders will show.. When it is set to automatic you can adjust the median as you said..

Well I just updated my 925 from AT&T via the downgrade method to Cyan and besides the tiny arrow on the signal icons and "Lumia Cyan" on the extras+info there's nothing new. No colors, not equalizer, nothing.

That is a bummer. I bought a new Lumia 925 to replace my broken 720 because I thought I would get the cyan improvements.

Here in Brazil the 925 is costing the same as the 625 so I thought it would means more buck for the money.

I can't say anything about Cyan..... still no update available for people who had the WP8.1 DP version.... I don't understand what's taking so long for MS to fix the issue... Ah well, by reading your comments I don't have the feeling that I'm missing on anything.

This is ridiculous. I do confirm lorenzattractor statement above: here in Brazil, the Cyan update in my Lumia 1020 did not come with equalizer or any sound enhancement at all. I still cannot enjoy an equalized sound with my BH905i bluetooth phone.

    F**k you, Microsoft.

This is pretty lame. Microsoft has said we would get all those Cyan benefits, but we're not getting them.
It's even their former high-end model. Was looking forward to the Brightness Slider option.

I'm from Philippines and I had Cortana with me. Just change your region to US and language to US English. You may have to restart your phone for each procedure and the you'll have Cortana. My concern nkw is, the "project my screen" on the serttings, it says I have to use a USB port to project it which I did on our TV that has a USB hub, unfortunately it didn't work. Anyone knows how to do it?

L925 has an AMOLED display and don't need a colour adjust and it has a light sensor and don't need a brightness control. The screen view is great colors are perfect. But, some features i'm missing like EQ control without a headset and other improviments (Like quality in photos).

There is software you need to install on your pc to accept the video feed from the phone. It's not as simple as plugging a usb cable into your tv...
