Anyone who uses 925 32GB unlocked (or any other unlocked Lumia) in India??

I'm thinking about getting a 925; but the 16 gb non expandable memory isnt going to do it for me. And I have asked a friend in US to find me a 32gb unlocked version. And my understanding is that only Vodafone has the 32gb version. Ive got some questions.

1. Anybody who's used unlocked Lumia from US in India, how does the OS updates work?
2. I know people whove brought android phones from US, and then rooted it, so any process like that for Lumia? Do we have to flash the OS to Indian version or something?

Unlock it, change the language/region settings, use. I'm assuming you've verified the 3g/4g/lte bands are compatible with what your carrier uses.
OS updates come from the carrier the phone firmware is branded to. So if it's a Vodafone device, you'll get the update when the rest of the Vodafone gets it. You can flash a country variant CV rom, which will bypass the carrier updates, but may introduce issues with the high speed frequency bands not being enabled.
