After waiting for the announcement today which was, for me, disappointing, I decided to hold myself over until a flagship with the 925. My main reason is that after 2 years, I'd like something lighter in my pocket. I hope with the 925 I'll be able to notice a difference.
Here's to hoping an actual flagship phone gets announced before I'm dead

Pickup a Nokia DT900 Charging Plate (Black) ($18.99) on Ebay and a Nokia CC-3065 Wireless Charging Cover from Amazon ($13.98 + $2.99 shipping). Love the convenience.

I wish you luck with that phone. It had a beautiful display and nice expensive feel to it. However, my second MIC and GPS stopped working so I threw out it and got a Lumia 635. I love it.

You've lost half your storage and "upgraded" to a lower quality camera. Why?

The storage dilemma isn't one. I have a 64gig SD card installed and I rarely use the camera. How many photos do I need of my cat really? The only thing I miss is the rich amoled display which also has glance. I didn't want to take another chance with the same model so I went with a newer. Many people are having that same MIC issue on the Lumia 925. As for the GPS, maybe mine was a fluke but I'm not taking the chance to buy that same phone. Plus,I hated that white polycarbonated back that t mobile forces its customers to enjoy. Still, the screen was beautiful on it. The Lumia 635 is a slight downgrade but it was cheap yet still has that quality finish to it.

I sincerely hope you meant "recycled it" when you say you "threw it out."

It's still on my bookshelf actually, but had you not reminded me to recycle I would have put it in the trash. Thanks!

Btw, how do you recycle a cellphone? Just put it in the bin with the bottles and cans?

That's one way of recycling it, improperly. The best way is to bring it to electronic shops, but most phone shops accepts old phones for recycling, some even buy it, but not in cash, something like a credit to your account or however they want to buy it.

Bring it to a store that recycles electronics. Sometimes, there are even places that will accept old phones to be reused, like for the troops and such. I remember probably 10 or so years ago, my mother's mechanic shop did that.

The best way to fix to microphones is to get a can of compressed air and blow them out at least once a week if you keep your phone in your pocket everyday. That's what I do with my 925 & I haven't had any problems.
