Here you go Microsoft: all Lumia Windows Phone 8 devices will be upgraded to Windows 10 | The Verge

And btw any twitter account that has the blue symbol next to it means it was verified and it is authentic.
That's a good enough proof.

I linked the original tweet, the link you provided is nothing new :S

Microsoft confirmed that all Lumia ruining Windows phone 8.x will be updated to Windows 10 with OTA update

Microsoft has not announced how they plan to place Windows 10 on every Lumia running Windows Phone 8. It is known that Microsoft is investing minimal efforts in maintaining Lumias on the S4 platform. Microsoft developers did not even feel it was worth it to rewrite Lumia Camera for the 1020. Optimizing Windows 10 for an older, different platform takes much more offer effort than rewriting a camera app. Hell, Lumia 925 did not even get a brightness profile.

Is Microsoft trying to clean their hands of the X2Y devices? Is Microsoft trying to put all their X2Y resources into Windows 10 development? Either way, it is clear that the level of support has decreased.

Maybe I am looking too deep into the subject matter, or maybe, just maybe Lumia 925 users are destined to be stuck on a Preview for Developers/similar program...

So an official and verified Microsoft twitter account is not enough for you, so even if satya nadella tells you personally that they will upgrade the L925 and other 8.x devices to WinPhone 10 then you won't believe him.
Now about the Lumia camera, they didn't enable the new features for the 1020 because of CPU and other HW limitations, what you are saying is like installing Windows 8.1 on a Windows 95 Machine and expecting it to work and provide good performance then blaming Microsoft when it doesn't. Re-writing software doesn't always solve issues, most of the time it will cause more issues.

One more thing that maybe you dont understand, OTA update is about downloading the update package on your phone then an update manager unpacks it, restarts your phone and replaces files. Since Windows Phone 10 won't be changing Kernel then this way is very feasible.

Also, even if the support has decreased then it is understandable and it is still better than the support Android devices get...
