Nokia Lumia 925 Power Section Problem

My Lumia 925 suddenly turned off and it won't start again. When I put it on charge I can see the charging light for a second if I move the cable but it still doesn't charge. I took it to the service center and they said I'll have to get the power section replaced. It costs almost 40% of the phones original cost. So is there a way in which I can get it working at a low cost? Because I don't want to spend so much on such an old phone.

Get a 925 with a cracked screen from ebay, remove the power section and add it to your phone

I am sorry for the late reply. I will try to use your advice but I don't exactly know where the power section is located. Please let me know if you have any idea.
