I consider myself tech savvy but I managed to brick my lovely 925 when forcing windows 10 mobile on it. The device recovery software cannot save it. RIP beloved Lumia 925. Flights of Angels Sing thee to thy rest. My 1520 just took a dive and recently died too. Death by defenestration. RIP 1520. I'm currently making do with a 640 while on a holding pattern waiting for surface mobile.

I wouldn't recommend it considering the fact that there aren't a lot of windowsphones available in the market to replace it if you ever brick it in the process. Fortunately I have several extras I can play around with but if this is the only windowsphone you have, don't do it.

I agree. It is a risk, but every time you're willing to play with reg, you're taking risks lol. I have read some success stories when it comes to the 925, so I wasn't hesitant. But the 925 is finnicky when it comes to unbricking.
