Do we really feel the 928 will be that much different than the 920? I need to dump my Note 2 on Verizon and want a 920. Not sure the 928 is worth waiting for. Some rumors indicate it might only have a 4.3" screen. That would be a deal breaker for me.

Just go for a 920, you're chasing a ghost. There's always gunna be a better phone "on the way". It's just how technology works.

Our Verizon sources have both said it will be out in April. I say wait through April and if there's still no 928 then get the 920.

Personally, I would hold out for another month, just to see if the rumors of a April release are true. As the 2nd poster said, there always will be a better phone, if you wait for the next big thing, you could be waiting forever.

In this case, there is solid rumor (does that even mean anything??) from "Claimed" Verizon employees that say it will happen in April, as we are at the end of March now, you might as wait a few weeks, if you dont hear anything grab the 920...

Ok so I'm Verizon, no 920 option. Wait for 928 or HTC 8X?

I really like the camera on the 920, from what I've seen and read . . . .

Im in the same boat right now. If I dont here about a release date soon Im going for the 8x. My contract was up in November and Im tired of Verizon making me wait for the phone I want!

I have been off contract with TMo now for a month or so and am looking to switch to Verizon but want the 928. Although Verizon has the best coverage in my area, AT&T's coverage is decent here too. If the 928 does not show up at Verizon in April, I, too, will be forced to go to AT&T for the 920.

I'd at least wait a month to see if there's anything definite on the 928 release. I was in the Microsoft store yesterday, once again comparing my Lumia 920 to the 8X. I love the 8X design, size and weight, but I've been so happy with the constant news and updates from Nokia. They just seem so much more invested in this platform than HTC.

I'm in a similar situation. I'm currently Verizon but want the 920 or 928. If the 928 isn't announced soon I am going with the 920 on AT&T.

And when the 920 comes out, 930 rumors will start surfacing. Will you wait for that too? You'll never have a phone. Get the 920. You'll always be waiting.

Or, do the right thing and pick the carrier with the best reception and service in your area. That would be the intelligent thing to do.

I would wait through the end of April for the 928, at that point if nothing has been announced either get the 8X or switch carriers and get the 920.

the problem with the waiting is if you wait til the end of april and the 928 still hasnt come out, youll end up telling yourself "well im a month closer to it being released, might as well wait a little longer"

this = me since the beginning of february

although i have no intention to leave verizon.. so its either 822 or 928 for me.. 920 vs 928 is harder
