ok, see the latest post from Nokia Conversations (gives time for the live webcast - 10am London time, Helsinki 12noon)

Steel yourself for the next instalment – Nokia Conversations : the official Nokia blog

they say “Steel yourself” in the title – i know … they mean brace yourself, but what if that word “steel” meant something?
Also – what about the “next installment” ? :)
    Nokia teases again! :)

Just reading the WPcentral front page news about Catwalk and the comments, I think many will be disappointed who are expecting to see something totally different from Lumia 920/Lumia 928.

Again, I don't see the point in holding an event for a version of a phone that has already been released (i.e. 920/928). If it was just another 920/928 then they could have just released it the same way the 928 was released - with not much fanfare.

@evleaks strikes again :) Looks nice - a more dark somber grey
no sign of the back - and yes, the USB connection appears to be on the bottom again...

    was about to post that.

    I really dont like it.

One interesting thing I've noticed though is that the Nokia tease video....it seems to be showing two phones?

Look at the camera hump at 0:08 (from the side, if thats what it is), then again at 0:12. Different humps.

yes, posted a comment about this on MNB earlier today.
The sliver hump with the twin LEDs shot, cant be the volume/camera buttons.... the buttons are on the edge of the phone and we are looking at the profile of the phone... so if it was a button, wheres the screen?

EDIT: link to the post i am referring to - i put it a little more eloquently there:)

HERE is the link to the images. I don't think it looks bad, I actually REALL LIKE the design, the camera hump is BARELY there. Looks pretty good, I want a better look at the back though, stock images please?

OK - major pinch of salt for this rumor...
see the link below, this guy is mentioning being a Nokia employee out of Finland.
He is saying that the sensor in this phone is a 27MP, variable aperture f1.6 to f.2.0, graphene sensor...
    weight 145g, thickness 8.7mm
He goes on to reveal a few more notes etc later if you scroll down...
IF what he says is true, this could well be the path for a EOS with a HUGE sensor with virtually no hump!

the whole "more than your eyes can see" thing makes sense if we think about the high-megapixel camera for this rumored device. As the amount of megapixels past a certain point in an image aren't detectable by than the human eye.... so theoretically everyone being excited about megapixels is silly, but this camera may very well have the best camera on the market today when it's released. We can only wait and find out!

I have to second the comment from the other page:

"Can’t sleep now due to the graphene rumours above".

This sounds too good to be true, but at the same time, as someone already stated - why would Nokia hold a special event for something that wasn't a true upgrade over the 920?

Hero material: 10 fascinating facts about graphene – Nokia Conversations : the official Nokia blog

The phone will not feature graphene. According to Nokia a pin heads worth of graphene currently costs 1,000 euros to produce. Maybe in a decade we'll have a graphene phone.

lol....well.....they did. The phone is a total anticlimax. Lower memory than 920. No Qi charging....I'm not even sure I want the damn thing.
