I was having a look at Nokia US' website and determining the specs for the 928.

For the data networks the site lists:
According to that it does list the AWS 1700-2100 bands built into the phone and one can assume that it is pentaband. Hopefully that is true as it would mean good news for those on T-Mobile in the US, or Wind and Mobilicity in Canada.
I compared it to the specs of the 8X which is also on Verizon and pentaband and the frequencies seem similar. I guess the best way would be for someone to get the phone, unlock it and test it out with a Wind, Mobilicity or T-Mo sim car.
