Increase scroll speed?

Is there a setting to increase scroll speed on the start screen and I'm just missing it?

On 7.8 I could traverse my whole start menu with a single flick, top to bottom. On the 928, it takes me like 3 or 4. Even with approximately the same number of tiles. It's the only thing on the phone that feels slow to me.

Same here. I'm happy that there is no lag, but it is slow.

How many tiles do you have pinned? Just curious what others have lol. I have about 3 screens worth of tiles.

One thing I'm missing coming from an iPhone 4 is the ability to tap the status bar (clock, LTE, wifi indicators) at the top to instantly scroll to the top of whatever I'm viewing be it my Twitter or Facebook feeds, a web page, or any other long lists.

Definitely think scroll speed should be adjustable. Not holding out much hope that Microsoft actually adds that in though.
